Sarah E. Tilley (Student) and Kabel M. Robbins (Resident)

At the 2011 AVMA/AAAP/PSA meeting in St. Louis, rising third year NCSU CVM veterinary student, Sarah E. Tilley, received the A.S. “Rosy” Rosenwald Student Poster Award for her poster entitled Investigation of Enteritis and Elevated Mortality in Young Guinea Fowl, with co-authors K. M. Robbins, J. M. Day, and H. J. Barnes.

Kabel M. Robbins, NCSU CVM Poultry Health Management Resident 2009-11, received the Reed Rumsey Student Award for his presentation entitled Genotypic and Phenotypic Comparison of Field Isolates of Enterococcus cecorum in Outbreaks of Spondylitis with co-authors M. P. Martin, P. C. Jay, M. M. Suyemoto, H. J. Barnes, and L. B. Borst. Dr. Robbins was also made a Diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians.
