Annual CVM Awards Ceremony Celebrates Faculty and Staff Excellence
More than 20 veterinary employees are honored with internal CVM awards with 17 recognized for external awards bestowed throughout the academic year. Dozens of staff members also mark years of service milestones.

The NC State College of Veterinary Medicine community gathered to honor its staff and faculty members Monday afternoon and to celebrate and announce notable awards. During the annual Employee Awards Ceremony, leaders recognized employees who won external awards throughout the academic year, bestowed the college’s own annual awards and celebrated dozens of staff members’ years of service milestones.
“We could not do this without every single one of you, even though we sometimes have an opportunity to recognize individuals who may stand out in a particular area of their career or their program here,” said Dr. Kate Meurs, the Randall B. Terry Jr. dean of the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. “Please know how critical all of you are, how important it is that we have you to make this one incredible community.”
