2022: A Look Back at the Major Impact We Had

At the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, we are innovators, problem-solvers and life-changers year-round.

As the days of 2022 unfurled, they revealed over and over again how the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine consistently shines.

The year, for starters, brought the college its first female dean, ushering in a new era and a new excitement about the future.

Our translational research into pain management and gerontology garnered national headlines and reinforced our reputation as innovators and problem-solvers. Locally, we partnered with Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh on an interactive new exhibit to help expand not only knowledge about what veterinarians do but also dreams about who can be one.

As life-changers, we tirelessly worked to protect critically endangered red wolves and to find answers for ailing animals and their families.
