Samuel Copeland (CVM 2015) and Callie Pierce (CVM 2016)

Two of our NCSU CVM students, Sam Copeland (2015) and Callie Pierce (2016), have had their presentations accepted for the 2014 American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP) meeting.  As such they will be in competition for L. Dwight Schwartz Travel Scholarships, which will be announced at the meeting.

Sam will present his summer research on why heavy tom turkeys are condemned at processing and Callie will present her summer research on relationships between slat height and other environmental factors on lameness in broiler breeders.
