  • Assistant Professor of Communication April Kedrowicz’s, (Clinical Sciences), study on veterinary medical students’ self-perception of communication published in the Journal of Veterinary Medical Education.
  • Pilot program offers Army soldiers and medics training in farm animal veterinary care.



  • Dr. Duncan X. Lascelles, (Clinical Sciences), addresses healthy feline aging in special issue of the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery.
  • Professors Casey M. Theriot, (Population Health & Pathobiology), and Laurianne Van Landeghem, (Molecular Biomedical Sciences), awarded research grants from the Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease.

  • The $50,000 Old Main Native American Indian Veterinarian Scholarship will help with education expenses of American Indian students at CVM.
