Dr. Gookin Recipient of AVMF/ Winn Feline Foundation Research Award
Dr. Jody Gookin, associate professor of internal medicine, is the recipient of the American Veterinary Medical Foundation’s (AVMF) AVMF/Winn Feline Foundation Research Award.
Dr. Gookin was honored with several other veterinarians in award ceremonies at the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Annual Convention in St. Louis, Mo. According to the AVMA, the award honors "efforts to improve the lives of both animals and people around the country and the globe. These individuals represent the very best in all areas of veterinary medicine, from education and public service to research and private practice."
AVMF/Winn Feline Foundation Research Award honors a candidate’s contribution to advancing feline research.
