We are deeply saddened to announce that our colleague and Class of 2011 NC State alumnus Dr. Daniel Lambert, has passed away unexpectedly. Our support and prayers are with the Lambert family and with the equine community.

Dr. Lambert owned and operated HorseCare Veterinary Services and worked closely with faculty at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. This is truly a great loss to our veterinary community as a whole. He will be profoundly missed by his clients, colleagues and the students whose lives he touched.

Details of his memorial will be forthcoming.
