CVM Veterinary Health Complex
Beginning June 20th, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) will be officially known as the Veterinary Health Complex. This name change is intended to more accurately define the multitude of hospital services available on NC State University’s Centennial Biomedical Campus and the CVM satellite and field services offered throughout the state.
The following hospitals and service groups are part of the new Veterinary Health Complex:
· Clinical Support and Diagnostic Veterinary Medical Services
· Equine and Farm Animal Veterinary Center
· Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center
· Satellite and Field Veterinary Services
· Veterinary Health and Wellness Center
With this foundation, the NC State CVM will continue to advance companion animal and equine patient care, biomedical research, bio- and agro-security, food animal health and food safety, ecosystem health, animal welfare, and the critical job training of the next generation of veterinarians and veterinary scientists.
Client note: Companion animal patient care will continue at the Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital through mid-June as final preparations are completed for the transition of medical services to the Terry Center.
