An estimated 10,000 plus visitors attended the Open House at NC State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine on April 23.

Visitors toured the NC State Veterinary Hospital and the classrooms and laboratories in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Attractions included the North Carolina State Trooper’s Caisson unit,  the Teaching Animal Unit, the Comparative Medicine Institute within the CVM Research Building, and numerous activities throughout the campus.

As always, the day included interesting demonstrations, fun and informative presentations on pet health; an opportunity to talk with faculty, staff, and students; and a chance to get up close with animals large and small.

Next year’s Open House has been scheduled for April 1, 2017.
